Shamar Group of Institutions was built around a simple idea: students shouldn’t have to figure out college admissions alone. Every year, thousands of students finish Class 12 unsure of what comes next — which course fits them, which college is worth the fee, and what the actual admission process involves. That gap between finishing school and starting college is where we work.
We started as a small team offering college admission counselling to students and parents in our own city, and grew into a full college selection consultancy as more families came to us with the same underlying question: “we don’t know where to even start.” Over time, that grew into a complete admission guidance service covering everything from the first conversation after Class 12 to the day a student walks into their new college.

Our approach to university admission guidance is built on listening first. Before we recommend a single college, we understand a student’s marks, interests, budget and family circumstances. This is also why our college admission counselling is one-to-one rather than a fixed script — the right advice for one student is often the wrong advice for another.
Our Mission
We believe admission guidance after 12th should be honest, not just persuasive. That means telling a student when a course or college isn’t the right fit, even if it means a shorter conversation. Our counsellors are trained to explain eligibility, entrance requirements and fee structures in plain language, without jargon or pressure.

How we work
Our university admission counselling doesn’t stop at giving advice — we stay involved through college selection, application, documentation and right up to confirmed admission. Students come to us at different stages: some need help deciding a course from scratch, others already know where they want to go and just need support getting through the paperwork. Our team is set up to help at either stage.
